Day by day
Welcome, Bo-Kaap and Table Mountain
We meet at Cape Town airport, settle into the hotel, then walk the pastel streets of Bo-Kaap before riding the cableway to the summit of Table Mountain. A relaxed welcome dinner in the city to close the day.
Cape Point and Boulders Penguin Beach
We take the coastal road down to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. Cape Point lighthouse, seal colonies, and the meeting of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. On the way back, time alone with the African penguins of Boulders Beach.
Safari Day
A full-day safari in open jeeps at Aquila or an equivalent private reserve. Lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard sightings. Buffet lunch at the reserve is included.
Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak and Camps Bay
A short boat from Hout Bay harbour out to Seal Island, then the cliff-carved curves of Chapman's Peak Drive, finishing on the white sand of Camps Bay Beach.
Wine Estates and Babylonstoren
A long, slow day through the historic estates of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Babylonstoren's heritage gardens, a seasonal lunch and local wine.
City, Markets and African Night
The Company's Garden, Greenmarket Square and the local stalls of Old Biscuit Mill. Evening: African Night, 14 traditional courses paired with live music and dance.
Free Morning and Farewell
Morning at your pace. Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Two Oceans Aquarium, or one last coffee in a quiet café. Afternoon transfer to the airport.
